A little bit of down time after course familiar today
Mixed team relay on Monday
(7.8.24) It’s been an honour and a
Privilege to work with the Australian Triathlon Olympic Team, race preparing the bikes all the way though to race day support
It’s been an absolute blast, with the highs and lows, exciting, exhausting, overwhelming and long days, but all worth while to be part of it
Back again towards the end of the month to do it all over again for the Paralympics
Enjoy the pictures.
Mixed team relay
 (5.8.24)
WOW!!!
(31.7.24) What a day!! Alarm going off at 4am to leave to race site at 5am to get set up in the rain and dark for when the athletes arrive, girls race first, bikes checked and set up on trainers etc, spare wheels checked in at the wheel station, just before the race over to the wheel station to be there if they need a spare wheel
While the girls are on the run back over to set up the boys bikes in the trainers for when they arrive, by this time it had stopped raining and started to dry out a little so a quick adjustment on their tyre pressures and good to go
The crowds was amazing!!! I did try to get them joining in my shouting “Aussie Aussie Aussie” but no Oi Oi Oi
Just the mixed team relay left on Monday, no sight seeing for me, need to clean and prep the bikes for that.

So……..pics from a few countries that met up at the beach to do swim training before the run tonight

World Para Triathlon series
Just heading back from the World Para Triathlon series in Swansea with the Australian Para team
After all my hard work race preparing the bikes it was decided the night before to turn it into a Aquathlon due to high winds with 40 mph gusts!!
It was great to see Anu Francis on the podium again and a few of the guys just missing out on the podium spot.
Next job for the Aussies is WTS Sunderland
Back from working for the Australian Triathlon team at the first round of the WTS in Abu Dhabi.
Preparing all the bikes for race day from inside the hotel room was a blessing on this trip due to the heat, but at least I had a great view!!
The race was on the Formula 1 track which in the week it’s open to the public to ride around free of charge on an evening, how good it that!!
