Wheels: Xpress are fixie style wheels with a medium profile alloy rim. They have a double thread on the large flange hub that can be used for either a fixed sprocket or freewheel, so they offer great versatility. Cross spoke lacing on both the front and rear wheels ensures rigidity and resistance, while the all black finish provides a distinctive 'street' look and feel.
Assembly involves careful spoke lacing and pre tightening, followed by mechanical stabilisation to settle the components into position. Controls are then made for accurate dishing and lateral and vertical centring, using computerised monitoring and automated processes to guarantee optimum quality.
Rims: Black anodised, clincher, medium profile, lightweight high resistance alloy. A finely ground braking zone ensures precise and safe braking.
Hubs: Lightweight, CNC finished, anodised forged alloy body. High-precision grease-filled bearings guarantee long lasting protection and smoothness. The double-threaded rear hub accommodates a fixed sprocket or freewheel.

The Tubeless ready rims have a 17c cross section, with a differentiated profile of 26mm front and 29mm asymmetric rear for the best compromise between weight and high performance. Micro bead blasting treatment of the surface to increase the mechanical qualities of the rim.
The hubs are made with a carbon fibre body and light alloy AL 7075 T6 flanges, a clutched CNC oversized AL 7075 T6 freehub with extremely precise SKF bearings to give a long lasting and smooth running performance.
The wheels are assembled with Sapim double butted round stainless steel spokes: 18 with radial pattern for the front wheel and 12+12 for the rear wheel with AL 7075 nipples for maximum lightness combined with high performance.

Graff Route Wheels

The Graff Route Wheels from Miche have been specifically designed for gravel use. The aerodynamic profile of the new HM700 carbon fibre rim combines excellent speed and handling on both gravel and road.
The rim has been designed with a 36mm profile and a 24mm hookless internal channel offers greater impact resistance and more stability when going downhill.
The Graff Route Wheels are Recommended for use with TLR tyres starting from 35c up to 55c. The lacing pattern of the 24 straight-pull front and rear spokes make the wheel light and greatly improves load distribution generated while pedalling.
X Graff Hubs produced in-house by Miche are CNC Machined in Ergal 7075 HT, mounted on high smoothness bearings with simplified hub movement regiastration which can be adjusted to fine increments even when the wheel is mounted.
The Graff Route is available for the various freehubs that exist on the market with Shimano HG, Sram XDR and Campagnolo Ekar free bodies. The wheels are sold with the tubeless kit assembled and guaranteed by CQ Miche.

Thanks to the partnership with CeramicSpeed, Miche has developed double-shield ceramic bearings taking into account every parameter: from lubrication to shields down to the thrust bearing/ball ratio for identifying the best possible solution in terms of smoothness and durability. The adjustment ring nuts present on both the front and rear hub make it possible to finely adjust the hub when required.
The Aero Blade fairing placed on the left flange of the front wheel reduces turbulence and improves the aerodynamics. The double-thickness stainless steel spokes with a crossed/radial 16+8 design feature different aero sections for the front and rear wheel. An innovation that, together with the Aero Blade, has been developed based on the data collected in the wind tunnel.
